An Approval?

1080 Words
“From now henceforth, you will work in the kitchen with Clara,” Diana paused for a while, watching Auder’s expression, which seemed placid. She looked short of words and bewildered. She looked like someone who had seen a ghost, as if she couldn't be free of s*x s*****y. In the Dawnhill pack, most women were punished with this, which was considered inhumane to Ariana “But my body belongs to Master Killian,” she bowed her head, tears dripping from her kids, while talking to Ariana who didn't have anything to say. “No, your body doesn't belong to Master Killian anymore,” Ariana corrected her, waiting for a few seconds as her fingers slammed through the pages of the book she was reading. “I found you in his bathroom; he hit you with wolfsbane, and you were left unconscious. You have been sleeping for three days,” before Ariana could say another word, Auder bowed down on her knees, thanking her for saving her life. “You will work with Clara in the kitchen from henceforth; you no longer need to be working on the farm or with Prince Killian in the bedroom.” “Clara, release her leg chains,” tears streamed down from Auder's face while she looked at Ariana. For a minute, Ariana seemed emotional, but it left just as quickly as it came, faster than the rushing of light. “You won't be working with hard labour, just doing some minimal jobs alongside Clara, is that clear?” “Yes, princess,” the two retorted as they excused themselves. Auder was about to open the door when Ariana called her back. “Auder, I know you killed my younger sister, but I have decided to ease your labour. Don't do anything that would offend me, is that clear?” She nodded her head while wiping her tears with the frame of her fingers, which looked tiny. “Thank you so much, princess,” she bowed her head, filled with so much gratitude. Before she left her room, her gaze caught on the mirror. She stared at her eyes and her lips, and for the first time in a year, she was able to see how beautiful she really was. “I already asked Clara to install a very large one in your room.” She kept silent, as if quenched by guilt. Fell to the floor immediately, “I didn't mean to stare at your mirror, princess. I was lost. Please forgive my insolence,” she said at once. Ariana did nothing but smile after Auder had left. To her , humanity came first , she couldn't just approve of what her brother did. It was heartless ! Inhumane ! And despicable! “Isn't that the s*x slave for Alpha Killian? What's she doing in the kitchen?” someone muttered, and that just spoiled auder's expression, making her emotions obvious. “So, people did recognise her.” Tears poured down her face, and she immediately wiped them when she noticed Clara was coming. “Were you crying, hun?” Clara asked while chopping some tomatoes on the board. “No, I wasn't,” she smiled, pausing her statement abruptly. “Some stuff just entered my eyes, and I couldn't,” she sniffed before ending her statement. “I'm sure she is just faking those tears,” another muttered, while the rest laughed at her, their voices in a low whisper, yet she could still hear them. “Focus on your work, clerks. If you are ready to lose your jobs, you can keep murmuring,” Clara said, immediately every maid in the kitchen kept quiet minding their business . That was the authority the princess had placed in her charge. Clara was the head of Princess Ariana's kitchen, so whatever happened in the kitchen was under her jurisdiction. “Get her for me,” a voice spoke from a distance. Looking at the person, it was Princess Injo, the second daughter of the Moon Shadow Pack and Prince Killian's fiancée. The overwhelming fear gripped Auder, who had been cutting sausages earlier. She became distracted, cutting her hand, and blood sliced through. “I'm sorry, Princess Injo, but you can't use Auder today,” Clara said. Injo looked agitated; her facial expression changed immediately. Injo, anytime she came around the palace, already made sure to add to Auder’s nightmare. What she usually did was to hang a loop on Auder’s neck and take her around like a dog with a leash, beating her with whips. Most of all she was Lord Killian's fiancee, she derived pleasure in hurting others. Injo’s servants proceeded to take Auder, who was already shaking in fear “I said you can't take her, Princess Injo.” Clara raised her voice yet bowed her head. “What makes you, a mere servant, talk to me, who is royalty? You don't even have to climb up the social ladder to climb up to my status,” Injo claimed, her eyes red with fury. She seemed both angry and lost. “Please don't be angry, Princess. I'm only following Princess Ariana’s orders.” She left with her foot stamping on the ground, while her servants followed her swiftly. No one knew why Injo hated Auder so much; maybe she saw her as a threat. Who knows ? People tend to be threatened by little things that aren't enough to break them. “Hello, Princess Injo, you are in the palace today,” Ariana expected a reply while on her way to the kitchen. However, injo rolled her eyes, staring at her while hissing. Ariana rushed towards the kitchen , while she met Clara and Auder as they exchanged glances “ I'm sorry “, Auder bowed silently , tears dripping from her eyes. She had drenched herself in guilt while Ariana raised her up slowly . “ Let's go “ , she commanded as the two followed swiftly behind her. “ Holy geez “, she muttered while they walked away slowly. Her mind was a mess, it was terrible and distorted. “ Why does she hate you so much, Auder “? Princess Ariana asked while staring at both Clara and Auder . “ I was Lord’s Killian mate before he ever got his wedding arranged with princess injo “ … S he hesitated while staring at princess Diana . “ You are Killian's mate “ ? Ariana rose in shock.
