Nicole's Pov

My father insist that we need to have a party for his formal farewell to the mafia and for welcoming me as the new boss. He also wants to perform a blood pledge to the old and new members not only to be loyal in the mafia but also to be loyal to me. According to him after my little killing spree m******e to those lower bosses, I gained some allies and some enemies which I need to distinguish. For the mafia men, pledging with your blood to someone means you will offer your heart and soul and it take seriously. I ask my father how can we be sure that they cut and pledge themselves to me. He said that there are so many secrets of the mafia that only the boss knew. One is the pocket knife that issued to those who wish to be a member. He said that it’s not just an ordinary knife. It has a serial no and tracking device. The serial number is registered in a website where all the information of the member was saved. The only one who can access this is the boss. The knife can also activate to determine if it absorb some kind of liquid like blood, alcohol, water etc. with in the day. The plan is activating the knives then ask the members to pledge with their blood then sort the data and last step is kill those traitors who didn't pledge.

The party is already started but I'm still here in my room thinking what should I wear. There is this lovely long blood red dress that my mom buys to me. She said that it’s been a while when I last wear a long dress. I already fitted it and oh boy it showcases my feminine body. The curves and shape are totally revealing. My father didn't like it a bit. According to him it’s too showy. He sent a white lady tuxedo to me with a little note.

"Wear this tux instead of that revealing dress to spare the life of those pervert who will look at you"

How sweet of my father, but I guess I want to see how he will kill those perverts so it’s the long blood dress. I want to look good tonight because this is the first time that I will be presented as the new boss and not just one of the lower bosses or daughters of the big boss. This is the first time that the mafia will see me as me and not in the shadow of my father. Don't get me wrong, I adore my father so much. He guided me through this mafia thing, he shared his knowledge to me and he personally trained me in combating and shooting. But I feel that I'm ready to build my own name. I want to make him proud.

I start to do my makeup and hair then I put the dress on plus my power hill. Its six inches hills boots where I can hide several small guns throwing knives and a grenade. Only fools will fallow the protocol that no fire arms allowed. This is not some picnic or ordinary gathering. This a mafia gathering and there is always a possibility that it can get chaotic. Its better be preferred than sorry right.

Indeed, that my dress is too revealing. From the moment I walk in to the party all the gentleman is looking at me like I'm some kind of food that they can't wait to have a taste. Thanks to my father's memo/threat no one dare to talk to in fear of losing their tongue.

No one should approach or talk to Nicole Prez. In failure to follow this direct order will lose the ability to talk."

That's the exact content of the memo that my father sent out to all the lower bosses that happened to include me. My father knew me well that I love the attention and praise but I don’t want to interact to anyone that not worth my time. Surely, I got the attention and praise by those gentlemen but I want the attention and praise of someone else who I think is not here tonight. I try to look everywhere but I didn't see her. I personally send her the invitation so I'm sure she received it. It’s just a week after she got her loan and she already failed to appear in one of the gatherings. This one in particular is the most important because it is the announcement of the new boss then she didn't come. How appreciative she is. I'm disappointed. She better had a valid reason or else I will make her suffer the consequences of what she did. The amount of money that she loans plus interest is very hard to pay in the kind of job that she has now. That’s keep me thinking, where will she be using that huge amount of money. Base on the intel she is working at the bakery then work as a bartender in bar near her apartment and then run some errands for the mafia. The money that she makes is more than enough to pay her bills and she didn't like spending to unnecessary things. So, what she does to money...

I remember, she is closed to my brother Andrew. Maybe he can spare me some details. I going to make sure to talk to him tomorrow morning. In the mafia, it doesn't matter where the debtor uses the money the important is, they pay on time. But guess what, it’s not mafia money that I lend to her, it’s my own money. The mafia will not lend that amount of money that easily. It’s always more than one day process then take another day to release. I'm sure she knew this because her father used to do this kind of stuff. Tomorrow I will get my answers to my questions in mind.
