I sat in front of the glass windows with my hands placed on top of my lap and my gaze fixed outside. The morning view of the city doesn’t seem so calm as it is at night. However, at this moment, I am not really sure if even the darkness at night is as calm as it is every single time I seek comfort from it.
The sounds of the water running from the bathroom is faintly heard across the room but I know well that there was someone inside. If there is no one inside that middle-size bathroom, then I wouldn’t have woken up alone in bed or he would have left after what happened. But getting to know how he is like and how he treats things, he won’t leave just like that, especially after he is determined now that the deal… it finally ended with him as the winner and I can’t even deny it.
