As we walked back to the camp site, I couldn't help but think of what to do with the children. They've been of great consolation and good company too. We treaded the part carefully and silently until Gad broke the silence complaining that he was too tired to continue with the excuse that his feet hurts a lot. I came closer to attend to him, dropped the dead zebra carefully on the floor, sat him down on a big stone and raised his feet to my laps. Looking beneath his feet the exact spot he complained that the pain is coming from, I saw that a stick had pierced into his feet at the course of the journey and he didn't even notice it.
