Chapter 7: at the hosptal

"Is she your wife sir!!?"

Asked the nurse, a question that made Rodrick stare at her for few second until he said,

" no am not, whats wrong??

"Its fine then, i wanted to ask you change her wet clothes, but dont worry i'll do it myself"

answered the nurse turning back inside to Adrianna who was so deep asleep,

after she was changed, she was smilling deep in her slumber so Rodrick spent his entire night beside her watching her

Damn she was so pretty, from her closed eyes, her gracian nose ,her perfect lips,

" maybe she is not a witch, she's so pretty for anyman to ignore... Even me " said Rodrick,

he continued watching her until he also fell asleep watching her.

early in the morning,

Adrianna was the first one to wake up, it was so embrassing to her, she was shy, so she asked the nurses to give her clothes,

once was dressed she wanted to slowly went away.

after slowly closing a ward door behind her, she rushed out to take a tax,

it was when she head a man's voice

" no need to erope, i will take you home" said Rodrick walking towards his car

she was too shy to argue so she followed and entered the car,

while he was driving,

"thank you Rodrick, i will never forget your kindness"

said Adrianna to the serious man who just nodded,

he took her just near their cafe and helped her climb out,

Adrianna could only appriciate his gentleness,

" lets go i will walk you in," he said while she lead the way though she was scared... how will her grandparents take this situation...

At the cafe grandma Joy and her husband grand pa Elly where suprised to see their grandchild returning home in the morning with a handsome man,

they were shocked away from Denis this was the second man they saw with their grandkid

"Adriana"

grandma Joy said as she could'nt take it anymore

"Grand ma and grand pa, good morning..aaam ....mmmh.. this is Rodrick my yesterday's saviour, the rain almost killed me but this man showed up"

Adrianna was afraid that her grandparents would freak out so she explained

Grandpa: oooooh ..he looked at grandma Joy as they gave each a signal which made them smile at each other

Adrianna: oooh you old people its not like what you think"

she said knowing their thoughts

Grandma: worry out my dear no need to explain, "

she said shly looking at Rodrick who was dumpstuck.

Denis: whats going on here ?

Denis walked there and asked,

he came yesterday evening but he did'nt find her, he came again at night but she was nowhere,

so he came again to find her with a handsome man.. what?? He hate this..

Rodrick : am sorry but i have a tight schedule so goodbye, Adrianna see you tomorrow at work, "

said Rodrick while leaving,

soon Adrianna na her grandparents were singing happy songs to celebrate Adrianna's new job, they forgot everything else while Denis was there standing and watching them,

Adrianna saw him but she didnt want to remind her self about yesterday, it still hurt.

Denis was a spoiled brat raised by his middle class family,

he met Adrianna when they moved to this city she was his genius classmate, they became friends and he fell depper inlove with her, he hated seeing her with other men while himself was a good womanizer,

he liked first class girls and used them to make Adrianna jealous, he somehow thought that she also liked him but he wasn't sure, his plan was to make her confess her feelings to him, years kept on passing until one rain day,

when he was coming out of the supermarket he saw her passing, he called her but she didnt hear him so he decided to go after her, after few block conners he found her kissing a man, a well dressed man, a rich man

His world collided and broke into many pieces, he knew she never kissed anyone so how comes??

She lied to him everytime they talk about personal stuff and she told him that she was excited when time comes to give her first kiss away and she will make sure it would be special and memorable as he was deep in thoughts

the man kissing her started to roam his hands around her body and she didnt react, no no he could not stand it anymore, so run off.

His feelings towards her changed from love to hate, and he could not talk to her about it or dare to share his feelings of love and hate, but he swore to make sure that she will get hurt more than he did,

he didn't know how many times she cried over him infact she was suppose to be the one to hurt him back,

he had no idea how many times he broke her heart and she still said

"one day i'll be happy with him"

she wasn't like him, she never do anything to hurt him like how he does...

So many times Denis would say something or pretending to make up story knowing that he was hurting her,

he knew how much she hated being poor living in that street and he used that to slap her every now and then.

After few minutes of Denis standing there swallowing his feelings of anger and jealous he moved forward to hug and congratulate her, she was so hurt in her heart especially when he pretended like nothing happened and even if it did he doesnt care

Denis: we shall have a chocolate cakes... All of us ... Its my bill

Adrianna:. Thank you so much buddy

She forced her self to smile at him, in her heart she was making plans to forget about her feelings towards him,

she finally gave up after years of longing and praying for his love and affection.

Grand pa: wooow chocolate for me anytime hahaaa

He said while walking to get the cakes

Grand ma: thank you my son thank you so much

Denis: hahahaaa come on granny you are too old and too poor to be my mom hahahahaaaa, isn't she funny

Denis said all of that on purpose, this was his first attack towards Adrianna,

he knew how much this was affecting her and hurt her whole family. His lips then formed a smirk

"three points for me hahaa"

he said with joy in his heart,

when Adrianna excused her self going to the washroom, he knew his attack had hit at the exactly spot.

" How dare you bring anothe man here" he said while drinking water.
