Chapter 13: she jumped on him

"we got a serious talk"

Nilan said to Rodrick as he was sitting beside him,

Adrianna was so embarrassed, she kept tending to other customers who most of them were congrating her saying she was cute and her boyfriend was so handsome,

she just smilled at them, she didnt love Rodrick,

she just missed him and she was greatful as he had saved her,

she convinced her self to believe that story...

She was now at Nilan's table as she asked their choice on the menu,

" you can come later, we are waiting for my friend, he's on call"

Nilan said giving her a sharp look, she didnt see it because she was shying away.

Before she excuse her self and went to attend other customers,

every now and then Bella pretended to pass by her to make a joke out of what happened a little time before

Suprisingly Rodrick wasn't scared of Nilan, he kept staring at her until she went away and he let out a sigh while smilling

" You bastard, you never smile like that before,"

Nilan said angrly looking at him almost wanting to punch his face

"I swear... I swear Rodrick if you are falling for her i will..."

He was still talking making a vow when Rodrick interupted

" How dare you threatening me??? Know your place or else i'll forget that we are at the public place"

Rodrick said in a very low tone almost whispering ,

Nilan was about to answer him when someone walked to their table,

" am sorry buddies, am sure i didnt take all the time"

the man said while sitting on the chair

" oohoo are you guys about to kill each other?, Rodrick why are you giving your boss such look ?? The man continued talking

" am sorry sir, he badly offended my skills and.."

Rodrick explained

"Nilan how dare you!!!? Dont be like that, stop behaving like a little boy"

said the man but his attention shifted to Adrianna who was now standing by the table, he was smilling at her,

" am so sorry Michael anyway meet my new girlfriend, her name is..."

Nilan was still talking when Michael interapted him

"Adrianna lucas hahahaaa we met again"

Adrianna was angry at Nilan adressing her as his girlfriend but before she could embarrass him,

she heard her name being called in a way she can never forget...

It was him...

She started to have a hard time breathing

as she looked at him, in no time she was shaking and heavy breathing...

She could'nt even blink her eyes the air was becoming too hot for her.

She started walking backwards taking step after step,

Nilan was shocked again as he was staring at Michael who smilled then as he looked at Adrianna's face he begun laughing,

he was laughing so hard,

Rodrick was sitting there giving Michael a sharp gaze,

there was a sight of danger in his eyes, he didnt move his eyes from Michael's face

Adrianna's ears was hearing a heavy evil laughter and everything there seemed so scary she could feel everyone was looking at her,

she was shaking hard.

As all of these were occuring, through the door entered Denis with flowers on his hand,

now days they met once or twice a week, Denis was busy at his university and he thought not seeng her everyday, he was giving her a hard time,

so today he wanted to give her flowers as it was one month to her birthday he always does this ,

When he entered, his eyes searched the entire restaurant and he saw her there,

she was shaking, her right hand was holding her heart

" Adrianna.."

he was suprised as he walked towards her,

he saw her taking a small step backward, What was happening to her!!!

He almost lost it.

He have done several things to hurt her but it was to teach her lessons,

its not like he loved doing so... Infact he could never stand another man hurting her, she deserved better,

Adrianna could no longer breath, she was gasping for air, her lungs were running out of air,

both her hands moved to her neck, it looks like something was hanging her,

Michael had already stoped laughing seconds ago, but she could still hear that evil laughter, and was making things so hard for her, events seems to be happening in a slow motion, she head Denis, her own long time crush,

calling her name while coming towards her,

she also saw Rodrick standing up from his seat with worry written all over his face,

he stood there looking at her

Also Nilan was looking at her

his mouth widen in a shock how many times was he shocked ever since he entered this restaurant,

" whats wrong Adrianna?"

He finally came to compose a sentence.

Seeng their expression Micheal had to turn to look at what was happening to her,

his head was now facing her, he could see her struggling to breath while her both hands were holding her neck,

he could see her eyes then moved to face him

And as her eyes met his, it was her nightmare occuring in reality,

and it was everything her heart could no longer take it,

her body had enough she started seeng darkness and noises she was hearing a time ago seemed to be dying away as her body went down

but before she hit the ground Denis was already there to catch her,

"Adrianna "

he called looking at her face,

she had fainted ... But why...

So he begun looking at the people who she was serving

Firstly his face met the suprised Nilan,

he knew this guy, he was Nilan the president's son and the future president,

the man he saw that rainy day with Adriana,

he kissed her damn it, he was kissing his Adrianna,

the second one was the man spent a whole night with his Adrianna and returning her home in the morning shameless,

and the last one... This damn bastard... This cursed dog... god will burn him hard once he dies,.....

No woods could burn him enough, god should use gas on him...

Denis hate this man so much and his eyes and expression towards him could explain the hate,

with his deadly expression Nilan and Rodrick could already guess what was the problem,

it was their friend Michael, but what did he do to traumatize Adrianna to the extent of her reacting like that as soon as she saw him,

Denis gave him a hard and sharp gaze as he carried Adrianna out.
