Chapter 15Josie couldn’t take her eyes off of Rebecca. The next morning, when Josie woke up alone, she was only lonely for a minute before the night came back to her in full arresting colour. That had been so much fun. Why did people wait to do that? Then she realized she hadn’t exactly been waiting, but more like terrified for most of her life. Then she realized this feeling of fear, the fear she’d lived with, had suddenly ebbed. Josie was happy. She was content.
