Hearing the sincerity in Ericks’s voice, made me weak to the knee. Even thought he was being sincere; I couldn’t help but hear the harshness in his voice. What was his problem? He’s acting like I did something wrong. Pff!
I was about to step inside of my office, when I hushed voice a few centimetres away from my office door. I wasn’t the type to eavesdrop on people’s conversation, but when I heard the mention of my name, I became curious, so I made myself invisible then walk in the direction I had heard the rumbling noises.
