Jenna's POV
"Is it because he's my daddy, mommy?" He asked again and I swallowed trying to come up with a reply but my throat was dried up
I was speechless- short of words, what am I to say right now?
"Charlie buddy" Linda came to my rescue, squatting before Charles and taking his hand from me. "Who told you this?"
"Mr. Kai" he replied and Linda's lips moved in an inaudible curse
"It's a lie-" but Charles wasn't listening
"I believe him, he gave me a paper to show to you," he said, dipping his hand into his pocket- he brought out a paper and stretched it to me
