I waited for a few minutes, but she just kept staring at me with wide eyes; I raised my brows at her.
"I mean-" I frowned lightly, knowing what she wanted to say. "He's already in police custody, I don't think there'll be any need for any of that" she muttered, her gaze fixated on her feet as if she suddenly found it interesting
"Alright," I breathed out, trying to hide the disappointment in my voice. "You can go change up, I'll order breakfast then we can head back home," I said and she nodded, sparing a few seconds to look at me before leaving
