I put Charles to sleep before going back to my room, I went straight to bed since I already had my bath. A loud sigh rigged in the darkroom- my mind reminiscing what happened earlier
I hadn't expected Paul's outburst; it felt like he could feel all of the pain I had been keeping within me as he knew me better than anyone. I don't know if he said it because of his hatred for Kai, or because he wanted to let Kai know how I feel
But it hurt hearing someone say it out, that's why I ran into my office- to soothe myself by crying my eyes out but what I hadn't expected was Kai knocking on the door, seeking an explanation
What was I supposed to tell him? That I'm in love with him After divorcing him? That I want him back after breaking him and running off? What sense does it make?
