Jenna's POV
"I mean, your burn was pretty serious- the coffee was too hot, I almost thought you wouldn't be able to speak anymore"
I facepalm myself in hopelessness. What's the point of getting angry at her? Emma sighed in relief as she led me inside. I sat on the couch while she leaned closer to check my lips which were red from the burns
"Sorry," she muttered when I winced at her finger contact with my lips. "How did it happen?"
"She's been zoning out all day" my secretary replied hastily, ignoring the signals I gave her to keep shut
"Why? Is something wrong?" Emma asked, I sighed- taking my phone since I had no intentions of explaining verbally
"I typed everything out and sent it as a message to her" I looked at her as she took her phone- I observed as her expression changed fro
