  Felix   The engine dies, and silence settles over the garage like dust.   I stay on my bike a moment longer than I need to, helmet in my hands, not looking at anything.   Marcus and Carter already split, peeled out 20 minutes ago bickering about where to eat. I lingered behind, taking the scenic route home, riding through streets I've known since I got my license at sixteen.   Riding clears my head.
