When I felt the gradual lowering of both his hands on my jaw, that's when I realized what I had done. My eyes widened and I was shocked so I pushed him away from me. I knew he was shocked by what I did. My whole face almost felt warm, and for sure I looked like a tomato when I saw that his lip was slightly red because of the duration of our kiss. I quickly wiped my lip with the back of my palm and couldn’t believe my eyes at Azhoulas who was now smiling at my reaction. The arrogance in his posture remained, even though I could see the mixture of bitterness and frustration in those stunning eyes he had as he stared at me.
