The study group reconvened in the library, determined to make progress on their project. Nathalie pulled out her notes, while Yuki Senpai began setting up his laptop. "Alright, let's get started," Yuki Senpai said, his eyes scanning the group. "We need to finalize our presentation slides." Taro yawned, stretching his arms. "Can we take a break first? I'm starving." Akira playfully hit Taro on the arm. "You're always hungry, Taro." Lila smiled. "I brought some snacks. Let's take a quick break." The group munched on Lila's snacks, chatting and laughing. Kenji discussed his favorite anime with Kaito, while Nathalie and Akira talked about their favorite books. Yuki Senpai checked his watch. "Time's up, everyone. Let's focus." The group settled in, working diligently on their project. Nathalie and Yuki Senpai collaborated on the presentation slides, while Taro and Kaito researched additional information. Akira and Lila worked on the project's visual aids, and Kenji compiled the data. As they worked, the group's banter continued. "Hey, Taro, how's your research going?" Akira asked, peeking over at Taro's laptop. Taro grinned. "I found some great info. Did you know that—" Yuki Senpai interrupted, "Taro, focus. We need to finish this project." Taro chuckled. "Sorry, sorry. I'll behave." The group continued working, their laughter and chatter filling the library. After several hours, they finally completed their project. The group cheered, relieved and proud of their accomplishment. Nathalie smiled curtly. "We did it! Our project looks amazing." Yuki Senpai smiled. "Thanks to everyone's hard work. Let's submit it and celebrate." The group packed up their belongings, excited to turn in their project and enjoy the rest of their day. As they left the library, Akira turned to the group. "Who's up for karaoke tonight? We deserve a celebration." Taro and Kaito high-fived. "Karaoke sounds awesome!" Lila and Kenji exchanged a look, smiling. "We're in." Nathalie grinned. "I'll join, but don't expect me to sing too well." 'or even sing at all ' Nathalie thought to herself Yuki Senpai chuckled. "Don't worry, Nathalie. We'll make sure you have fun." The group laughed, already looking forward to their celebration. The group headed to a karaoke bar near campus, eager to celebrate their completed project. As they entered the bar, they were greeted by the sound of loud music and laughter. Akira led the group to a private room, where they spent the next few hours singing and dancing. Taro and Kaito performed an epic rendition of a popular anime theme song, complete with choreographed dance moves. Lila and Kenji sang a heartfelt duet, their harmonies blending beautifully. Nathalie surprised everyone with her hidden talent for rap, earning cheers and applause from the group. Nathalie rapped for two reasons one, to not be left out and two because although she really loved singing she was terrible at it. Yuki Senpai, despite his initial reluctance, ended up singing a soulful ballad, showcasing his impressive vocal range. As the night wore on, the group took breaks to grab snacks and drinks from the bar. They chatted and laughed, enjoying each other's company. At one point, Nathalie turned to Yuki Senpai and asked, "Hey, Yuki Senpai, what's your favorite song to sing?" Yuki Senpai smiled thoughtfully. "I have a soft spot for old-school rock ballads. There's something about the raw emotion that resonates with me." Nathalie nodded enthusiastically. "I know what you mean! I love singing songs that tell a story."by now Nathalie had gotten used to yuki and no longer feared him as much Their conversation was interrupted by Taro, who jumped onto the stage and began belting out a loud, off-key rendition of a popular pop song. The group erupted into laughter, and Nathalie turned to Yuki Senpai, grinning. "I think Taro needs to stick to his day job." Yuki Senpai chuckled, shaking his head. "Indeed." As the night drew to a close, the group gathered their belongings and said their goodbyes. "Thanks for organizing this, Akira," Lila said, hugging her friend. "I had an amazing time." Akira beamed. "Anytime, guys! We should do it again soon." The group filed out of the karaoke bar, still laughing and chatting. The next day, they gathered in Haruto-sensei's classroom to submit their project. Haruto-sensei looked over their presentation, his expression unreadable. After what felt like an eternity, he finally spoke up. "Well done, everyone. Your project shows a lot of potential." The group breathed a collective sigh of relief. "However," Haruto-sensei continued, "there's still room for improvement. I want you all to revise and resubmit your project in two weeks." The group nodded, taking notes as Haruto-sensei provided feedback. As they left the classroom, Nathalie turned to Yuki Senpai and asked, "Hey, Yuki Senpai, do you think we'll be able to revise our project in time?" Yuki Senpai nodded confidently. "We'll work together and make it happen. Don't worry." Nathalie smiled, feeling a sense of reassurance.
