Chapter 9 Pip yawned as she stretched on the bed. The sheets smelled of her and Major, and it was the best scent in the world. Hell, it beat even the name brand laundry detergents. And in her life, she’d had precious opportunities to use anything so costly. The only problem was, as she wriggled among the soft sheets, she realized she was alone. Which, to be frank, f*****g sucked. She’d spent precious few days waking up with Major at her side, and she was looking forward to the practice becoming a habit.
