Chapter Six Maureen’s homecoming was not at all what she’d expected. There’s a commonly held belief that people don’t change. That may be true but there are exceptions and Travis was one of them. Much to his own amazement, Travis had fallen in love with her, at least to the extent it was possible for a man like him to love anyone.
