RIEKA POV
I get home at 3pm to see an astray Gamma from the neighboring pack, asking for directions to the park's hospital, to which I do.
He was so grateful that he introduced himself, and says a very bad joke, it was so bad that it leads me to laughter, next thing I know RALPH pulls me and slaps me across the face, for no concrete reason.
He then pulls me violently by the hand into the basement, that I feel like my hand is about to be riped out of my shoulder.
" Ralph l can explain" I say as we enter the basement, but he wouldn't hear any of it, instead he pushes me to the floor and helds me by the hair.
" what did I tell you about men?" He ask angrily
" It's not what you think, I assure you I was just giving him directions to the local hospital" I cry in fear.
The marks on my forehead and body haven't completely healed up, I can't afford to recieve, anymore.
" Oh really, you were showing him directions, as a GPS right" He mocks
" I was just trying to help, I couldn't just leave him there helpless" I explain and he slaps me
" You couldn't leave him helpless ya" He laughs " Let's see who is going to save poor, helpless you now " He says confusing me
" What do you mean?" I ask confuse.
He doesn't respond, but instead he walks away and locks the door.
" Ralph please open the door I beg of you" I cry
" That's your punishment for disobeying my orders" He says
" Please, you can't do this to me Ralph, you know how scared I am of the darkness and closed spaces" I cry.
I have developed a phobia for close spaces and darkness since I watched my parents brutally murdered infront of my eyes from the closet, and that fear has only gotten worse since I married Ralph.
" Good, so you could learn your lesson" He says before I hear his footsteps, moving away from me.
I cry and cry but he doesn't return, this brief moment reminds me of my entire life, everyone I love always abandons me in the dark.
I wait and wait, for hours but no one comes, I don't know how many days pass because the room was always dark.
It was horrible in there, the bugs feasted on my toes, while the mosquitoes feasted on my flesh.
I could see all sorts of things, witches, vampires, I even saw my late parents, or maybe I was just hungry.
After losing all my hope of one day getting out of here, the door finally opens, and two men walk in, I couldn't quite see their faces clearly because the light temporarily blinds me, before I could balance my vision, they carry me out, arm in arms to my bedroom, where Ralph is sitting comfortably and having a glass of wine
" Welcome back wife" He says" I hope you have learned your lesson"
He says with an annoying smirk,
' He's not even sorry, what an unrepentant bastard'- I grumble from within
I try to speak but my mouth couldn't mutter anything.
" Here you go" He says as he offers me a bottle of water, which I goggle down.
" You look even more beautiful now" The moroon says as he runs his hand throw my hair and I tilled my head to the side
" Don't be like that babe, I did you a favour you know, you finally got to lose the much needed fat" He says, and I give him an angry stare.
I want to hit him, to tell him to go to hell, but I can't muster up the courage.
" I had breakfast made for you" He says as he hands me the breakfast tray and I dive in, like an animal.
" Slow down love, the food is not running" He says with a smile, but I don't hid to his words
" When you are done, take a bath and come to dad's room, he has been longing to see you. Need, I remind you if you tell him anything, you are going to spend another 3 days in the basement" He says before walking out.
' I think I am really starting to fall completely out of love with him'
After taking a bath, I hurry to pa's room, and was completely shocked, when pa hugged me, with tears in his eyes.
" I am so sorry child, I know it must be very hard for you" He says
" What are you talking about pa" I say with a confused smile
" I told him about the fact that you were hurting yourself and have been subjecting yourself to starving" RALPH lies, rendering me utterly speechless
" You should have told me, that you were bothered about not being able to borne Ralph a child" Pa says " Don't worry about anything my child, you're going to remain Ralph's wife for as long as you live, ok" He says with a reassuring hug.
" Stay with me and tell me all your worries" Pa says as he pulls away from the hug and make me sit next to me.
" How have you been?" Pa ask
" Just been going through some stuff pa" I say with a fake smile
" Sorry for making you worry pa"
" No problem child" He says " You can tell me all about it over dinner" Pa says before Ralph cuts in
" I am sorry pa, she can't. She needs her rest" He objects
" Is that so, we will talk some other day then" Pa says
" Sure" I agree, before we leave.
We don't talk much that day and the next day I wake up, get dress and head to work, only for him to order a female omega to follow me.
I don't complain of course, I don't have the strength to, what an annoying, insecure man.

RALPH POV
RIEKA has been avoiding me, for the past day. She barely speaks to me and when I talk to her, she answers with a simple Yes, No or Ok.
I can't blame her though, I shouldn't have locked her in the basement, but I had no choice, it was either that or I beat the hell out of her.
Then a brilliant idea comes to mind on how to make it up to her. I then order a group of omega's to decorate our room, before I head to the jewelry store to get her a necklace.
A few minutes into the search, I receive a call from Gabriel and I decide to take it.
" Hi bro" He says
" What do you want?" I ask angrily
" Don't be like that bro. Fine, I am sorry. I wouldn't talk about your wife again" He says
" If you mean that, then you are forgiven" I say
" Thanks" He says " How about you meet me up for some clubbing"
" Sorry I can't today, I have plans" I confess honestly
" Oh is that so, too bad. I really wanted you to check out my new investment, a club on the outskirts of town" He says
" You bought a club? Congrats bro" I say with a smile
If he has the money to buy a club, then he must have a lot more that I can leach on.
" Thanks bro" He gratifies
" Later then" He says
" Wait, send me the address. I will be there"I inform
" But what about your appointment?" He questions
" She can wait" I say
" Very well then, I will send it right away" He says before hanging up.
Let's just see what I can get from that i***t.
