The dried-up corpse of a man fell on the webbed floor and bounced once due to the impact. The bluish figure cackled with a burst of raspy laughter as it gazed with desire at the three insects that sped in the air along three different directions. Two of the three insects were dragon-flies whereas the last one was a mosquito.
The bluish figure sped in the air and pounced on the mosquito first. The mosquito barely managed to dodge its initial lunge and entered into a gap in the net made from spider silk towards the third floor. it knew that the chances of its survival were next to zero had it chosen to fly towards the base, that's why it used its tiny mosquito body to enter into one of the gaps that had formed in the spider web possibly due to the recent battle.
