Chapter EightThalia couldn’t help but laugh at Yiannis’s shock when she joined him in the drawing room again, a mere fifteen minutes later, attired in her riding habit. It was her favorite one with a double row of gold buttons down the front and frogging on the shoulders. She held the matching top hat in her hand at her side. “That was incredibly fast!” he said, rising. “I don’t believe I have ever seen a woman change that quickly.” Thalia just shrugged. “I don’t believe in dawdling over my clothes and hair like some girls.” She gave the simple chignon atop her head a pat and hoped that it was still presentable. She had, in fact, hurried so much that she hadn’t even taken the time to check to make sure her hair was still all in place. “Amazing!” Yiannis held out his arm for her to take.
