That is your work now, not mine.” Yiannis wasn’t certain he’d handled that situation correctly, but at least now they both knew where they stood. He wondered if she were hiding her disappointment behind this suddenly intense discussion of archaeology with her father, or if that was just his own wishful thinking. Dinner ended early with Thalia’s father eager to get back to his work.
