Cape GirardeauS outheast Missouri State University was a sprawling campus that dominated a good portion of Cape Girardeau. It had a rustic collegiate charm, and Shake kept thinking that it reminded him of the mythical Faber College from Animal House as he drove around looking for a convenient place to park his truck and trailer. He finally found a student lot with a friendly attendant who pointed him to an open slot at the rear near some parked RVs. He even provided a campus map and marked out the way to the library.
