April's P.O.V

I wiped my tears with some tissue. And took a quick nap. To regain the energy lost from crying.  I got up and went to wash my face. After I was done I began to explore the house. I mean he didn't say I couldn't explore. After some exploration I saw a big room which seemed to be the kitchen. On the counter I saw Elijah making out with a Red haired girl.

I felt a big pang in my chest. April  you saw this coming my vision was filled with tears. But I did see this coming so I don't know why it hurts this much. I tried exiting the kitchen but tripped on the slippery floor. By now I am sure they saw me but I didn't care. I got up and turned. I put on the biggest smile on my face. And tears pricked my eyes I am sure they could see it.I squinted my eyes to try and hide it.

''Sorry for interrupting.'' I said and went to the garden. Some women were working on it it was a huge garden to be honest. I started to wander about and saw a meadow filled with flowers. And a little girl sitting in it crying. I walked up to her and sat beside her.

''Hey ,why are you crying.'' I wrapped my hand around her shoulder. She had beautiful blonde locks. And big sea blue eyes. As blue as the ocean.

''No one wants to play with me they keep pushing me around and bullying me and my father doesn't even want me. No one cares about me.''

''Hey, don't say that. I am sure someone cares about you .I care about you. And I am sure your father loves you very much.''

''How can you care about me when you just me me.''

''You don't have to know someone to love them. For example your mate when you meet him you will fall for him without knowing him.''

''Ok, I understand. Can you sing me a song.''

''Sure.''

'' You have a beautiful voice. I could listen to it all day.''

''Why thank you how about we play a game. Who can make the best bouquet wins.''

''You are on.'' She quickly got up and collected some flowers I also began working on my bouquet. 

A/N The woman isn't April  but that's the little girl and she is called Angeline by the way.

We finished our bouquet and compared to see which one was better. After she sat between my legs and I started to braid her hair. And we told each other stories to make one another laugh.

Elijah's P.O.V

I heard someone trip. I turned and saw my mate. I forgot to ask her name. She got up and turned. Tears in her eyes and she smiled.

''Sorry for interrupting.'' She then scurried of. I then felt really bad about making out with Regina at the counter but. It's not like its any of her business. I still felt bad.

''Baby who was that ugly duckling.''

''She is my mate. And she is beautiful.'' I screamed at her. f*****g mate bond. She gasped.

''The Moon Goddess has out done herself. So you are just gonna leave me just because she walked in you are gonna throw away our five year relationship how could you.'' Regina started to cry.

''Baby don't cry I love you you are beautiful, smart and strong. And there is no way that weakling is going to be my Luna. When I have the best one right in front of me.'' I caressed her cheek. She leaned into my touch.

''I love you Elijah.''

''I love you too. I am coming but when I come back I want you ready for me in the best way possible.'' 

''You got it.'' She cat walked away adding a lot off butt moments.

I walked out of the mansion and began looking for my mate. I checked the court yard and the gardens. And asked one of my pack members.

''Have you seen a woman with silver hair and black eyes pass here.''

''Yes Alpha she was heading towards the meadows.''

I walked there looking for her and I saw her sitting in the meadow singing a lullaby to a little girl. She had an beautiful voice it was melody to my ears. I felt good listening to her. She then began making bouquets with the little girl and they started making jokes or something like that. Her laughter was beautiful and her smile now I felt really bad for making her cry. Now all I wanted was to be the one to put that laughter and smile on her face. Aaaaargh what's wrong with me why am  I feeling like this. I love Regina.

We both know you don't .You love this girl. From the bottomless part of your heart and you know it. My wolf said

Yeah maybe I do but I can't make her my Luna. She won't make a good Luna like Regina.

How do you know that .You don't know her don't judge a book by its cover.

More reason as to why I know I don't love her I don't know her so I can't love her.

My wolf went silent. And so did I. I leaned on the tree in the meadow thinking about everything my wolf had said.
