[Jax]
ELLIOT
[Elliot]
JAX
[Jax]
HI
[Elliot]
HELLO
WHY ARE WE SCREAMING?
[Jax]
Screaming? We're texting.
[Elliot]
Yes but in caps
[Jax]
So?
[Elliot]
So that means screaming.
[Jax]
Oh, I guess
I just wanted to let you know, that the guy in 'the ugly shirt' asked me out!
[Elliot]
You've only been texting for a month J.
[Jax]
Only?! Only?! It's ALREADY been a month!
[Elliot]
Mhm

Elliot POV
I sigh and rub my face. He's not in this for good reasons. I can feel it. I saw the way he was looking at Jax. As if he was easy prey. I wanted to go to them but the girl kept talking and I couldn't stop her. I told her I had to go twenty times! f*****g hell. This is all her fault... if Jax gets r***d by that guy I will personally make him eat his own balls. Who would like a guy named Frederick anyway? That just shows he's bad news.

[Elliot]
So a date huh?
[Jax]
Yes.
I thought you'd be happy for me!
[Elliot]
Never said I'm not.
[Jax]
Ugh. Just help me with my clothes pls.
What should I wear?
[Elliot]
Whatever you feel comfy in.
[Jax]
That's no help at all. Thank you.
[Elliot]
Well, just put on a shirt and jeans with your vans.
[Jax]
Obviously, as if I was thinking of wearing a skirt.
[Elliot]
Well you have a pair don't you?
[Jax]
WHAT
HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT ?!
[Elliot]
I saw it when I dropped you off after that party and had to help you in bed because you were too drunk.
[Jax]
Oh gosh..
PLeAse PLEASE forget that...
[Elliot]
Why?
[Jax]
BECAUSE IT'S EMBERASSING
[Elliot]
I don't think it is, but no need to yell.
[Jax]
Sorry for yelling...

"Silly Jax..." I chuckle while shaking my head. I must admit though, ever since I saw that babyblue skirt in his room, my mind has gone crazy with images of my best friend in it. That's not good... I'm not even into guys? I'm straight. Not that there's anything wrong with people who feel anything but straight, if it was Jax wouldn't be my best friend. He's been openly out since 4 years now. I still remember the moment he told me. He was so scared, the poor boy had tears in his eyes. He told me that he figured out he liked guys because he never fell in love with a girl before and he started having a crush on me. He was shaking while telling me, scared of losing me. I hugged him and told him everything was fine between us and would remain like that forever. A promise I intend to keep. Because I need him in my life, he's my best friend. His crush on me was cute, and didn't last long, not that I minded ofcourse. He couldn't do anything about it anyway. We've been friends for seven years now, we met at football practice, he hated it and wasn't that good, but his dad wanted him to play. I helped him, people laughed at him and I didn't understand why they wouldn't just help instead of being asses. We quit the team a month later, he prefered watching the game, but I prefered playing. I didn't want to play in a team full of stuck up asses though, so that's why I quit with him. We've been best friends ever since.

[Elliot]
It's fine J, I'm just saying. You must wear what makes you feel comfortable, not what you think he will like on you.
[Jax]
I guess...
[Elliot]
Here, put on that white V-neck shirt you have with a blouse, your black skinnies and vans.
[Jax]
You think?
[Elliot]
It's your fave outfit, isn't it?
[Jax]
You know me toooo well...
[Elliot]
(;
[Jax]
Okay... I'm gonna go now. Wish me luck!
[Elliot]
Don't let him hurt you, and if he doesn't pay, never see him again!
[Jax]
We'll see!
Omg he's HeRe!
ELLIOT f**k HE LOOKS SO GOOD!
HELP
I THINK IMMA PASS OUT!
OH LORD!

I run a hand through my hair and huff while reading the text. "f*****g hell..." I shouldn't feel the way I am feeling right now, but I just want to protect him. He loves hard, and he will get hurt by this a*s. I know it. Should I go there and keep an eye on him? "Elliot what the f**k?" I say to myself while sipping my coffee. "What's wrong?" I look up at my dad's voice and sigh. "Jax is on a date." My dad smiles. "That's great, isn't it?" He asks making me shrug. "Not really, sure it's good for him and his confidence but he'll get hurt. I know that guy doesn't have the best intentions. Jax deserves someone who loves him. Not someone who wants to get in his pants." I explain, making him frown. "I understand your concern, and I know you only want what's best for your best friend but Jax needs to make mistakes in order to learn. If not, he'll never see danger coming, because you've always been there to warn him." I sigh and nod. He's right, it just sucks. "I know, I just feel like a bad friend if I don't warn him." My father pats my shoulder and smiles. "You're not, you're helping him. I'm not saying you can't warn him, just don't make it obvious. Little warnings are good. Make him see it and figure out on his own, but with your help." I smile and hug him. "Thanks dad. You're the best." He kisses my head and smiles. "I'm going to the grocery store, need anything?" I shake my head and bite my lip in thought. "I don't think so, no." He nods and goes out, while I run upstairs and take a shower. "Just give him small warnings. You can do that. Point out red flags, but make him realise it on his own. I can do that." I mumble.
