[Jax] Morning! [Elliot] Goodmorning cub, sleep okay? ————— Jax blushed, he didn't really like that nickname at first, but now he loved it. Because Elliot calls him it and it's the hottest sound he's ever heard. The way he pronounces the three letter word- gosh Jax wished he said it in ever sentence. ————— [Jax] Yeah I did, missed the teddybear i held when falling asleep though. (: ————— Jax hesitated while typing that response but he decided to just hit send and see what happens. Elliot's heart skipped a beat, he smiled while rereading the text three times. "Ahw..." he mumbled. ————— [Elliot] Well, i figured, knowing you, you want your bed all to yourself. So I decided to go home. [Jax] You know me too well.(: ————— It was true, but not now. Not in this situation. Jax wouldn't have minded it one bit, if Elliot took all the space in his bed, or the blanket. Hell he would've slept on the floor if it meant Elliot had stayed. [Elliot] Well we're best friends for a reason mhm. ————— Awtsh... Jax sighed. Those two words meant so much to him, yet they didn't mean enough. Not by far. "If only it was more." He sighed and bit his lip while thinking of what he could possibly respond. The past weeks were so great, his heart New Elliot must've felt the way Jax does... but if only his head believed it. ————— [Jax] Duh. :p ————— Elliot huffed and ran his hand through his hair. The dreams he woke up to every morning were killing him. Dreams about Jax in skirts, dreams about them holding hands, even dreams about them kissing and doing far more than that. They made him crazy. Because he didn't want them to be dreams, he wanted them to be real. It took him some time to accept the fact that he loved another boy, but it didn't even take him a second to accept that the boy he loved was his best friend. Elliot loved Jax dearly, and he would make him his. He had to, if only it was easy. He tried to make himself believe that it's not harder or less hard with a girl. Because love is love right? So yes it's always hard. But if only Jax would show him he loved Elliot... that would make it easier. Jax was blind for his best friend's love but Elliot was blind too. Blind to the giggles and the blushes of Jax. Blind to the touches they share. "What do I even respond to that?" Elliot mumbled while reading the text. [Jax] You wanna come over today? [Elliot] It's hot today, you know that right? [Jax] Yeah, so? [Elliot] Well you're like 'don't make me move, it's hot' so what do you want me over for? [Jax] I don't know, to just hang? You know, you're probably right. You'd be bored I'm sorry. Forget i said anything, i heard Lena is throwing a pool party today, sure you're invited.(: Jax' heart hurt. It hurt bad. He was SO insecure when it came to inviting over Elliot. It got worse in the past weeks, because he felt like he was asking Elliot over everyday and the poor boy felt like he was being pushy. This text only added to his anxiety. Because to him, this was Elliot's way of saying he didn't want to come because he was bored of his best friend. [Elliot] Hey, no I'd love to come! Elliots response came quickly, he felt guilty. He could tell something was wrong, because Jax never texted like that and he never said sorry for asking Elliot to come over. It hurt him, it hurt him to see how easy he could affect his best friend's feelings. [Elliot] You know I love annoying you. (; The second text took a little longer, but it needed to be sent, because Elliot didn't want to come across as if he was in love with his best friend, eventhough it was really all he wanted him to know. [Jax] You sure? Lena will miss you on her party. "What's his problem with me and the girls? It's as if he wants me around them." Elliot frowned. [Elliot] Yeah Well I'd rather annoy my best friend than drink shitty cocktails with high pitched voiced girls. Wait... maybe Jax didn't want Elliot around anymore? And maybe that's his way of trying to get him to do something else? [Elliot] But, I mean it could be fun. [Jax] Great! So you're coming over ? Oh, yeah it could be. [Elliot] Yeah! Elliot got into his car and drove to Jax' house. He knocked on the door and saw his best friend opening it in his boxers. f**k was it a sight to see. "Oh! Hi! I didn't know you were coming over?" Jax said, making Elliot laugh. "Yeah you did, I texted you." He answered while trying desperatly to not stare at the smaller boy's body. Oh gosh the skirts would look so good on him. "Oh you did? Yeah I thought you meant the party." Jax said with rosey cheeks, making Elliot shake his head with the most gorgeous smile. "I meant here, but if you want me out you could just tell me you know?" Elliot said, while trying not to sound insecure. "Oh no, I don't want you out but if you wanna go-." Elliot shook his head and kissed Jax to get him to stop being so insecure. He didn't know what came over him but he pushed the smaller boy against the wall gently, and cupped his soft cheeks. Jax was shocked to say the least, but he kissed back because that was all he'd ever wanted. "I-I'm so sorry. Uhm-." Elliot couldn't find his words, he couldn't find anything really. His body went limp and brain mushy, Jax blushed fiercely and smiled. "Don't be, I liked it." Both boys didn't know where Jax got the confidence from, but it was good. Because for once Elliot was flustered and didn't know what to do. So Jax took lead and kissed him again. "I love you." Elliot said softly, while looking into Jax' eyes. Jax smiled and hugged him. "I love you too."
