“I’m really going to lose my best girl, am I now?” Frank says while wrapping me up in a hug.
“Sorry Frank, it’s something I have to do,” I say feeling bad that I am leaving a part of my life behind.
“Hey, don’t worry about it. You were never meant to stay here forever, I see big things in your future. I always have. We are just going to miss you,” Frank says while patting my back.
“Thanks Frank. I’m going to miss you too, but Lucas and I can come and eat breakfast before we go to work, you know. It’s not like you won’t see me. Maybe you could come to dinner at our house sometime or something. And think of it this way, you will finally get to see me in something better than this horrible pink uniform,” say while bumping my shoulder with his.
