Josie’s POV
I tossed and turned all night reliving the pain of ten years ago, cementing my decision to get revenge. I must have finally fallen asleep, as I roll over and open my eyes to see Maeve’s bedroom that has been decorated with the dappled morning sunlight.
I look around and see Maeve and Elaine still asleep in the bed. Elaine with her mouth open and drool on her pillow. I giggle to myself knowing how embarrassed she would be if she knew she had drooled in her sleep.
I make my way to the en-suite, knowing I will not be getting any more sleep and wanting to head home so I am ready for my date with Lucas today. He is picking me up at noon and the Red Sox game starts just after one.
I wash my body with my mind going in all directions, Lucas, my father, mom, and everything
