Josie’s POV
I struggle to not smile when I see my father’s obvious frustration, he does not like the new contract. He does not like being forced to comply or admit that everything he has been spewing is lies and half truths. Everything has had a motive and nothing has been in my best interest.
I have to play dumb and act as though I am unaware of the changes made to the contract, unaware of the underhanded contract he presented me, unaware that he is just as despicable as he always has been.
