I really hope I am not being naive because I feel like I am on cloud nine after my night with Lucas. I could hear all the whispering and one thing I heard over and over was that Lucas’s dad was behind Madeline, not Lucas.
That helped put my heart at ease because at this moment, riding in the passenger seat next to Lucas in his Aston Martin I feel blissfully happy. It is weird to think that my past and present are starting to merge as one and that Lucas is actually a part of both, in a weird way even if we weren’t friends back then.
