“What has you smiling all goofy like that?” Franks gruff voice interrupts my thoughts. “Let me guess, Lucas?” He chuckles.
I continue to wipe down the counters getting ready to open, “I’m just happy today.”
“Ummhmm, just happy about Lucas is my guess,” he places a plate of food on the counter in front of me. “I thought you could use some breakfast before we opened.”
“Mmmm, this smells good Frank. You know I would never pass up any of your food!” I smile at him.
He leans his back against the counter as he seems to scrutinize me, “So what exactly is going on with you and Lucas? You two flirt up a storm and rumor has it you two went out on a date.”
