Chapter 0: Babel

This is an unusual part in which I explain the nuance differences between their planet & ours: It is the only chapter without 5 parts.Lets start here with The Creation Story: This happened right before our universe coming into existence. When the Biblical God hovered over the waters. Those waters were the Souls of other Deities that lived in other realms that the "gods" of our universe could not reach. The first soul in this realm to recognize itself as a form is what we might reason as "Love"; not a physical, brotherly, or friendship love, but a deeper understanding and appreciation of the elegance of living things. Including the brokenness and imperfection that surrounded it.This Love called itself "En." En searched the universe and discovered no forms to take. So En formed their new body, En chose a young shifting creature, what we hail as a Rainbow-Colored One-Horned Western-Style Majestic-Dragon Shape-Shifting Elvin-Goddess. She called these forms "Dwell," and together they became "En-dwell." En-dwell on a journey to explore herself, established her Mind, that is her ability to create. The mind of En-dwell was called Echo, but it made no sense to add that on, so The Goddess made her whole being Zentai. Zentai made two creatures called Tutus and Natas. She split Tutus into Tyde and Tussle because she produced a chimera, and she wanted to calm both souls, so she gave them separate bodies. Tyde appeared as a Pegasus, and Tussle appeared closer to a unicorn. Natas never had the ability to see how he appeared. Nobody knew how he looked. He was an invisible soul. He only left tiny footprints unknown to any living thing. In fact, when he walked a colorful polka dot imprint that showed up as if black oil on the tar after rain. Zentai gave Natas and the twins Tyde and Tussle the ability to generate new things under supervision. Tyde and Tussle made the elements, 6 creatures, Gas, Liquid, Flame, Terra, Plant life, Animal Life and Magic. And Natas formed a few stars and multiple moons that he used to play games and set up their cosmos. One day Natas got bored and sneaked off and built a huge entire world with 3 moons. He filled the world with breathing creatures. They were different from Living Creatures in the way they could make choices and mistakes. They were flawed by designed. And anything flawed was frowned upon. When Zentai found the planet and its inhabitants she reprimanded Natas for disobeying but told Tyde and Tussle to place the elements, they designed to govern the world and its occupants. Because of Natas' rage and inability to accept criticism and critique, the world destroyed itself every few hundred thousand years. All the citizens reincarnate, but only one remembers it one time and then in the next life they forget.

Past Lives Our story starts amid the 5th reincarnation of the world

1st rainbow bubble creatures, floating spears full of magnificent colors - remembered

2nd Unicorns and Pegasus - forgotten

3rd small magical creatures such as leprechauns, elves (the little helpful kind), and fairies - remembered

4th dragons and their ending both majestic and tragic - forgotten 5th what we call "human" - remembered.

The Planet:

1) 5 times the size of Earth

2) No tilt, no rotation, Nor any revolving.

3) It has 3 moons that revolve around it

- The 1st controls days & time. It is Copper and Cobalt.

- The 2nd controls the Months and Water and is Silver and Scarlet.

- The 3rd controls the year and is Gold and Green.

4) Natas set the Planet up like a top heavy Pangaea with a few outer islands

5)There's an isle at the bottom of the planet where they always claimed the Deities live, nobody knows for certain since it is unreachable.

The Year:

1) Their year comprises 22 months of 35 days and 2 month of 20 days.

2) the first month is Wholt-Vay on the odd years and it is dry

3) The first month is Dae-Luge on a even year and it rains the whole time. 4 ) Both lasts 20 days and alternate between years so it rains for 40 days straight and the next Cycle it is bone dry for 40 days.

5) Their week is 9 days, their year is 810 days.

6) A Day is 16 hours, awake 10 and asleep 6. The day is not split in half, so the first hour awake is 0 and the last hour before waking is 15. breakfast is at 1, School starts at 2, lunch is at 4, school ends at 5, dinner at 7, and a small meal around 9 right before bed.

7) There is a sample calendar on the first page. It is an even year.

Babies & Aging:

1) Pregnancy lasts 210 days or around 6 months (9 Months our time).

2) Nobody knows anyone born during Dae-Luge or Wholt-Vay.

3) Babies set to be born on Dae-Luge are usually born late.

4) Wholt-Vay babies are born premature.

5) Everyone born up to a certain point was born before

6) Everyone ages at a rate of time and a half our aging. If someone is 3 on their planet, on ours they would be 4.5. And at 12 they are really 18.

7) You can Vote, Join the Military, Consent to s*x, and Smoke Weed at 12 (18).

8) But you have to wait till 15 (22.5) to drink, Smoke Cigarettes, Get Married without consent, or Buy any drug or weapon including Kitchen Knives, or become a mind reader by consent (This will make sense later).

Holidays

1) All of Dae-Luge and Wholt-Vay. Everyone sleeps. For the whole two months. They call it the Big Sleep. It is in essence hibernation and gives the people time to heal.

2) The second Koi of the second month is called The day of Gratitude. Koi, Faer-Gynt 10. It is their Thanksgiving. It is also know as Scavenger day because any animal that neither died in the floods or drought. Anything was not bone dry and did not wash away is fair game. Think Thanksgiving with post hurricane roadkill.

3) Everyone's birthday is celebrated with a half day for them.

4) The last day and first day of the week are off for students and half days for adults.

5) Zentai's discovery day is the middle day of the year. Sol, Cyler-Galf 17. - it is like Halloween and Christmas mixed. Everyone dresses up. Kids go out and knock on doors and adults hand out different gifts depending on how good or bad the kids were during the past year. Candy is given if the kid has a cool costume. Generally the gifts are something necessary like socks.

The days of the year do not change except the first and last months. If a day is on a date that date is on that day, regardless of the year. Like if May 1st was always a Tuesday.
