I couldn't recall how long I had sat there, women entering and leaving like a revolving door. I barely heard the gossip.
It wasn't until two women's voices brought up the conversation of how handsome Julian looked, the other lady giggling about how her husband would feel if he found out that "Dorcas" was ogling other men, that I snapped out of my haze.
"Jess, darling," The first woman's snooty voice tinkled with laughter, "If Julian Cruz were to show me any sign of affection, Riz would be divorced and Julian and his millions married to me in a heartbeat!"
