"Leonie, here's your certificate. Congratulations." Mr. Arguelles said. She was now sitting on the front chair beside Mr. Arguelles' desk. Leonie happily reached for the parchment paper. She obviously won the Blog competition since her story was a magnate to the students and readers. "You really made a good job. We hope that you will end it happily ever after. My children were really hooked in your story- blog. And they were giggling over the last scene you created." He said, chuckling. "I also have the same feeling. Sir. But I can't promise the no- dying scene." She explained, trying to calculate the last sentence she said. "Oh, by the way. The Sunrise Publishing Company is offering us to publish your story. If you'll grab it, you will be making more money." He said. He extended his hand to her and shook it. "Sure, sir. I'll be really glad to hear that." The happiness in her voice is unexplainable. Once more, she stepped out of the room, holding the envelope of her certificate. There was already scenes playing onto her mind when suddenly her phone rang, on the screen her father's number was appearing. She touched the answer button and heard her father on the other line. "Congratulations, my princess. We found out that your story was a hit. We realized that your fate is truly in writing." His father stated and she felt the softness of his words. It gave her a feeling of satisfaction. "Thanks, Dad. Does it mean you will not bother me to take any course you want?" she said, her voice was quivering as tears started flowing down her cheeks. "Yes, dear. We also junked the thought of getting you here, since we see that you are really enjoying what you do." Her mother said on the phone. "Remember our promise before we left five years ago? Remember the time when you cried because you got envious with children who have siblings? The reason we pursued migrating abroad is to keep our promise to you. We worked and saved a to because the doctor told us that your mom can only bear child through in-vitro fertilization, and now she is. You're going to have a baby brother." His father said, there was joy in his voice. She couldn't believe what she heard. Tears fled on her eyes, abundantly rolling on her cheeks. Leonie couldn't believe that all these years, she thought her parents gave up on her. And now they were not only three, but an addition will soon come to their family. "Our dear princess, you wait for us. Your mom decided to give birth there. She wants to see your happiness." There was excitement on her Dad's statement. "Dad, Mom.... I love you and I miss you." Leonie said, her voice was sobbing, but it was full of hope. Since her last birthday, she took pity of her situation, thinking that nothing from her dreams would ever come. Now, they were like shooting stars, ready to be hold in her hands. "Leonie, sorry if we made you feel upset for pushing you to be somebody you are not. We hope we could make it up to you as soon as possible." Her mother said. Her last word struck deep in her heart. With the joy in her spirit, she fled from that place, bringing the good news to her Aunt and best friends.
