Chapter 9

A'Nae

Friday day and night with Tisha was sad. She looked so heartbroken, but I bet her and Ace gonna be together before the weekend is even over with. So now it's Saturday morning, mama is at work and Tisha is still asleep. I get out the bed quietly and went in the bathroom to take a shower. I got finished with my shower and got dressed in the bathroom. When I walked out Tisha was on the phone. I already know who it was and since Ace is on the other end I will only be able to hear Tisha's part of the conversation.

"You said what you said yesterday because you meant it Ace." Tisha said to him through the phone. They must be talking about when he told her she could leave the whole "relationship" yesterday.

"..................."

"No i'm tired Ace! I'm about to reach my point with you!"

"You don't seem like you care to me Ace." Tisha says her voice softer now. See I told you this s**t was gonna happen.

"..............."

"I want you to be real and have a real relationship with me. That's what I want from you Ace."

"......................."

"Are you serious? Yes Ace! I'll be your girl!" Tisha screamed over the phone jumping up and down. I feel as if my advice that I gave her last night just went to waste. I better be ready for late nights with Tisha crying all the time. I mean I'm glad she's happy, but it's not gonna last long with her and Ace always arguing.

I get out of my thoughts and look over at Tisha whos sitting on the bed sighing like she's in love. I go sit by her and smile. She gives me this big smile back. I guess as long as shes happy im happy, but that's not gonna make me stop being real and giving her my honest opinion.

"A'Nae he asked me to be his girlfriend. Do you know how long I've been waiting for him to ask me that?" Tisha told me doing her love sigh.

"Well... I guess I'm happy for you."

"Tell me how you really feel A'Nae."

"I feel as if nothing's gonna change between yall. Like, I still think he's gonna mess with other girls and you'll be the one that ends up heartbroken every time. That's how I really feel. I mean it's your life, you do what you want. I can't stop you from being with him, but I hope you take my advice into consideration." I told her how I really felt about her and Ace. It's just a bad situation with them two.

I guess after I told Tisha how I felt she got angry and she left the house after getting dressed. I heard her slam a car door and I guess Ace came and got her. She's the one that told me to tell her how I really felt. I was just trying to be a good best friend.
