A'Nae

I guess Vahji thought I was playing with his ass. I'm so heated! But I can't let that show. Even after I told Jimmy what I have told him, he's still trying to talk to me. I guess I can give him a little bit of play, right? It wouldn't hurt.

"Just come on A'Nae we don't have to date... we can just talk?" He pleaded for the fourth time already.

"Okay, okay Jimmy, we can talk. Just don't get too carried away with it." He smiled and the bell rung.

He grabbed my books and book bag and followed me to my locker where Vahji was waiting for me at. He has the nerves to even be around me right now.

I walked to my locker, pushed Vahji out the way and opened it. I grabbed my stuff from Jimmy and put it in my locker. I'm done with school for the day. Glad to be a senior and got most of all my credits done. I closed my locker and turned around to face Jimmy and Vahji. Vahji tried to give me a kiss and I turned my head. He aint about to kiss on another girl then come and try to kiss me. No boo, A'Nae don't play that.

"What’s wrong now A'Nae?"

 I took out my phone, went to my messages with me and Tisha and showed him the pictures.

"I don’t know, you tell me Vahji" He looked pissed but I didn't care.

"So ain't like we dating." He shrugged his shoulders, really?

"You right, but when you think about it... you wanted to build a relationship with me. I told you to leave the girls alone... you told me you will. Seem like it was a lie. But don't worry, me and Jimmy will find something to do." I told him seriously.

"Don't play with me A'Nae." Vahji tells me with anger in his voice. I could care less right now.

"Ain't nobody playing Vahji. If you ain't even gonna treat me right when we trying to have a relationship, then you ain't gonna treat me right when we are in one."

I walked off with Jimmy trailing behind me. Vahji need to learn that I ain't one of these little girls running around here letting him do what and who he want when he feel like it. It's not happening, I'm not naïve. I'm not gonna be over here standing by you looking stupid while you fooling around on me. I'm too mature for s**t like that.

Jimmy and I actually did hang out with each other after we left school. We both have half schedules. We went to the mall and he just walked around with me while I bought stuff. I’m trying to like him, but I don't think it will happen. He's soft, sensitive, but I guess that's him. He told me that his dad died and his mom been there since forever. Never left his side. I think it's sweet and that's where maybe he gets his sensitive side from. He never had a father figure. Kinda the same for me, but I see my dad from time to time. His parents isn't even alive.

When I got home guess who was in my driveway? Vahji. I got out my car and locked it up passing by his car and made my way up to my door unlocking it. Mama was at work, like always. I walked in and left the door open knowing he was following behind me. I heard the front door shut when I was at my room door.

I walked into my room and put my bags in my closet. I heard my room door shut and felt Vahji's hand come around my waist. I removed them and sat down on my bed looking at him.

"So what’s up?" Vahji had asked me.

"Thought I told you to stop showing up to my house unannounced." I reminded him

"You wasn't answering your phone. Too busy having niggas buy s**t for you?" He slightly yelled at me.

"Excuse me? I bought my own s**t! I don't need no dude to do anything for me. At least he went and kept me company. He wants to be with me, just me. No other girl... he knows that I don't have feelings for him, but he still likes me. I wish I could have feelings for him, but I can’t. Finally, somebody wants me and I don't want them back!" I yelled at him.

"I do want you A'Nae. I just can't be in a relationship right now."

"Then don't f*****g waste your breath and emotions on me, now get out!" I yelled at him. If he thinks imma just sit around and let him play me he got another thing coming to him. He can have all these girls, but they ain't gonna amount up to me. I'm too much of a real women that he has ever dealt with.
