A'Nae

It's been a week hanging out with Vahji and his small crew. They real cool actually and funny. Especially Kenny. He’s quiet, but funny as hell. Ace and Tisha still aren't together. One minute he acts like he wants her, but the next minute he all up on another girl. All I can do is be Tisha's diary. Ace better stop playing before he gets a talking to from me. Nobody has time for him to be messing with people's feelings. Corahn and I have the best friendship.. Well to me we do. He's a good listener and I’m his diary too. He told me he's feeling this girl, but she to hook up on this guy that don't even treat her good. I feel like he should just take charge and have her notice him in the way he's noticing her. Feel me? Last but not least.. Vahji and Talia. Talia is pregnant and yes it's Vahji's. I swear it literally broke my heart when they told the crew. I could've just cried right there.

They seem like they have everything together for the baby. Even though they really don't have to do anything since Vahji brings in all the money I guess. Vahji though.... he told me he isn't happy about having a baby. Especially by a girl that he doesn't even love. It took me by surprise that he told me this. Me of all people, he still acts like I'm not even there. Plus, he acts so happy about it when he's around Talia. I guess he's just trying to make it better for her.

At least this is our last year of highschool. We can be free and begin our lives. Even though some started a little early. I'm ready to leave Texas. I'm leaving everybody and going to Florida. I can't stay here any longer. Been here all my life and I wanna go to other places. Get to know that place, meet new people.

I hear my doorbell ring and go downstairs to see who it was. Mama was at work today. For the 3rd damn day. She's working herself to hard. When I opened the door there stood Corahn, Tisha and Vahji? Why are they here. specially Vahji? Never thought that I would see the day that he would be standing on my porch.

"Hey.... why yall here?" I asked them curiously.

"Came to visit our friend". Tisha answered busting in the house and going to the kitchen. Fat ass.

"So what you been doing in here by yourself?" Corahn asked with his nosy ass. Why are they really here? I was enjoying the peace.

"Chilling peacefully with no noise around. That's what I was doing... then yall came asking questions. So, why are yall really here?" I asked them once again. They know damn well they ain't come over just to see me.

"We wanna get you out the house and help shop for baby clothes cause you know you were once---"

"Shut up Tisha! Please, just please don't speak of it. I'll go, just let me change" I spoke and went upstairs. If we are going to the mall I have to look cute. I put on a long summer skirt, white fitted shirt, gray sandals, gray purse, sunglasses and two bracelets. I left my hair straightened and went downstairs.

"Damn girl. you clean up good." Corahn commented. I thanked him and we headed out the door and into the car.

When we got inside the mall Tisha and Corahn left and went their own ways leaving me and Vahji together by ourselves. We headed inside babies R us and I didn't even know what kind of clothes I was looking for.

"Uhh... Vahji, she isn't even big enough to know the s*x yet... so neutral colors?" I asked him curiously.

"Yeah, like orange, red, black, green... those colors." He told me with a stern face. We just started filling the basket with cute clothes. We was doing good though, but one question was stuck in my mind.

"Why isn't Talia here helping look for clothes for YALL baby?"

"She didn't want to. What was Tisha going to say earlier at your house before you cut her off and went upstairs to change?" He asked me in an interested tone.

"That's a another story for a different day." I spoke and it was. It was something personal and I didn't trust Vahji enough to tell him something so personal to me. Tisha, my mom and my dad were the only people I told and I know they are still disappointed in me a little bit, but the past is the past and you can't change it.
