In case you were wondering, my brain has been functioning the entire time.
My body just took a bit longer.
I heard the whole thing, though—Dash wanting to go kill Seth, and the others agreeing to go with him.
I heard, and I decided to do something about it.
I know it’s not fair to ask Rachel to do something awful so that my boyfriend doesn’t have to. It’s just… more complicated than that.
Dash’s parents are evil, just like my father is. Dash has darkness in him, just like I do. Since I met him, I’ve always seen that darkness lurking deep in his eyes, and in his memories. It’s never made it to the surface, and I trust him enough to know that, even if it did, he would never hurt me.
