Nate and Will are off conspiring somewhere, as usual—which is pretty perfect, considering I haven’t mentioned a thing about any of this to Nate.
I know, I know—I said I’d start opening up to him. And I meant it—really, I did. I just know what he’d say if I told him—that it’s too dangerous—that he’d want to be there to make sure I was safe.
