"Everyone else did the same," I sigh.
"But…You persevered and shocked everyone by landing the interview. I'm left wondering where she's going with this after hearing her say it in a casual manner. And, if I understand correctly, you were chosen for this interview rather than Ms. Davenport?
The answer is "yes, Mrs. Olivia." I nod.
She nods while forming a tight lip. "Well, then, that has to be a good thing, right?"

"Well, like I was saying, I read the interview, and I was pleased by the style of writing and the perspective you were trying for. It had a fantastic vocabulary and was written with sophistication.
