Chase stopped in front of me with a big folder in his hands, a smile stretching across his face. “This is the review on the product, Miss Grace. Most are good rather than bad. Everything you need to know is here.”
I stared at the folder like it was a monster waiting to devour me. My jaw literally dropped open. It was thick, pages upon pages stuffed into it. My eyes widened at the weight of it when he handed it over.
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” I muttered under my breath.
Chase must’ve caught the expression on my face because he scratched the back of his head awkwardly. “Actually… I wanted to give you the one I summarized. It would’ve been faster, and easier to digest, but, ” he leaned in slightly, lowering his voice “I was told to give you this one instead.”
