9: THE DIVINE KNIGHTS III

1009 Words
He should report this to the Divines but before that, he should take some actions. He can sell these monsters to the Livonia Market at an expensive price. He sneered at the monster and he saw him. The monster walked his way to the WinterSonata. Raphael grinned; it was so easy to catch one. He thought to himself. He stretched his right arm and gripped his sword holder. "Tell me monster, what is making you insane?" He asked. The monster lowered his head and bellowed in front of him so loudly that his long hair had flown so flawlessly behind him. He had to close his eyes; the pressure was getting on his nerves. "GRAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" "I see." He let out a chortled. He was sure that the other monsters have heard the scream of their comrade. He has to be fast before the monsters come! "ESTE EVALUPB!" The sword holder had grown into an ice sword only as sharp as the regular sword—or maybe sharper! This sword is not going to break unlike the regular swords of the nimphians. Raphael snorted and jumped to the air up to the monster's eyes and pointed his sword to the right eye of the monster and chanted another magic, "VILUMIS!" his sword elongated and cut deep to the eye of the monster. The monster screamed his agony and his hands were up to his head trying to remove the thorn in his eyes but before he catches the Divine Knight, Raphael had jumped back to the grounds with his sword holder. The ice was left on the monster's eye. The ice sword was too small for the monster to remove it with his bare hands. He began to cry; the monster walked back and cried loudly, swaying his hands, paranoid that Raphael was still around. Raphael had thought another joke to kid around. He stretched his arms and opened his palms to the ground and chanted the magic, "ESTE LOVUM" The deck's ground began to solidify by ice. Raphael skated his way to the side end of the ship and wrecked it. He doesn't need to put a lot of effort into destroying it for it was already destroyed by the monsters. He looked around to find the other monsters only to find out that they ran in his direction but slipped to the ground. It was ice—his masterpiece. He smiled devilishly and skated in front of the monster and kicked it to the far end of the ship. The monster slipped his way to the waters and Raphael did the same to the other monsters. After that, he went to the deck's room and removed the ice. Raphael saw what the damage it left after his fight with the Leviathans but of course, he has nothing to do with the damage; it wasn't his fault that it was wrecked. He turned around to go back to his deck when he saw the three guards panting on their knees holding a torch, he snorted. They were still injured and their uniforms are covered in blood. These idiots, I wonder why they are still alive. He blew to the torch the guards are holding. A cold white smoke flew into the air and killed the fire. The guards were taken aback by what he did and some had whispered, "I thought he needed us to create fire?" He went up to his deck not looking back to the poor and hoped that he will not get bothered again. It was a long ride to Livonia City but the hours felt like it was in a blur maybe because Raphael had slept all day on his ship. Well, he has nothing to do. Who can blame him? The ship was easily repaired by the non-nimphians but of course, what would they do in those three days? Raphael woke up and stretched up his arms. He stood up and went to the bathroom to have a good shower. He was still preoccupied with the attack of the Leviathans on the last day. What are their objectives? Perhaps their houses are being hagridden by someone but who could it be? Thoughts have lingered in his head when he noticed they've already arrived. "We are now arriving at the docks of Livonia. Again, we are now arriving at the docks of Livonia. Thank you." Said the captain of the ship through his tooupe. Raphael had splashed water on his face and dried himself with a towel after the shower. He came out and changed his suit into a plain white dress stretching to his ankles and silver body armor. It is his formal attire when having a meeting with the other Divine Knights. He let down his long hair and packed his things and he was ready to go. The ship stopped and Raphael is now outside. He walked out of the plank and passed through the other nimphians who are boarding his ship. There were vendors inside the port premises. They were shouting—endorsing their products to the passengers. He was searching for carriages to take him to the center of the city but the number of nimphians in the port is legion. He asked the vendors for the location of the transportation and they all answered, "Just go straight, boy." He didn't believe them he thought that they are all lazy to tell him the whereabouts of the transportation so he just walked his way straight ahead unsure. He had his turns and turns until he grew tired and just followed what the vendors told him. Just go straight, yeah. On his walk, he saw large white horses far in front of him. He rushed, stomped the foot of someone, bump into someone until he reached the horses. So, it was really straight ahead? They looked unbelievable. He thought to himself. Two horses have a black eye patch and a black carriage on their tails. Raphael looked up to the chauffeur whose handling the ropes of his horses.
