The night of the full moon, Cormac's pack descended upon the mine, trapping Luca and Lily. Cormac sneered, his eyes blazing with hatred. "You'll pay for defying me, Blackwood."
Luca stood tall, his voice steady. "I'll never submit to you, Cormac."
Lily stepped forward, her voice ringing out. "Leave him alone, Cormac. He's done nothing to you."
Cormac's laughter echoed off the walls. "You think you can protect him, human? You're no match for the pack."
But Lily refused to back down. She began to sing, her voice soaring through the mine. The music wove a spell, weakening the pack's hold on Luca.
Emboldened, Luca transformed, his wolf form towering over the pack. Cormac snarled, but Luca pinned him to the ground.
"You'll never control me again," Luca growled, his teeth bared.
The pack fled, defeated. Cormac, enraged, shifted into a monstrous form, but Elara appeared, summoning ancient magic to banish him.
As the dust settled, Luca turned to Lily, his eyes shining with love and gratitude. "You saved me," he whispered.
Lily smiled, her heart full. "We saved each other."
Under the moonlight, they shared a kiss, their love strong enough to overcome even the darkest forces.
But as they embraced, a faint howl echoed through the forest, a reminder that their journey was far from over.
