Chapter 27 Erin was barely hanging on. By midday Monday, she was ready to breakdown, but she couldn’t. She had patients to see and a work day to finish. She could break down later. When she was home alone and no one knew what was happening. Erin finished her notes on her last patient and smoothed a hand over her skirt. She hated wearing skirts to work when she felt like s**t, but it made her feel a little more put together. Plus, she hoped her coworkers, especially Beth, would think she was getting better if she looked the part.
