Andie flitted around the picnic, avoiding talking to anyone for too long. She was paranoid. Her clothes were starting to feel tight, and she was convinced her stomach looked rounder. She saw Cody across the room and ached to go to him. He was nursing a glass of wine and avoiding everyone, except he looked like he was having a miserable time. She was pretending nothing was wrong.
