Andie Young parked her car in the small lot next to Erin’s office and sat for a minute. Her mind had been consumed with thoughts of the baby since the stick turned blue. She still couldn’t believe she was pregnant.
She and Cody talked about kids when Alyssa and Jake had Duke, but only once. He said he wanted kids one day. She wasn’t sure if today was that one day. Cody loved her, but they’d only been together a year. He admitted he’d been in love with her for years, but was that enough? She couldn’t imagine her life without Cody in it. She loved him. More than she ever imagined she’d love someone. She thought when they had kids, they’d be married and her doubts would be gone.
