"Christian why would you even... " Jay start.
"I was desperate for a little, you know. I wasn't thinking straight. I am sorry." I cut him off mid-sentence.
"Yeah, right. What I was saying is why would you even lie for Carol, again? You know how serious this is, don't you? Carol could have been put in jail for this?" He says. I know. I know. That's why I am lying! You cannot put that little behind bars!
I steal a look at Carol and she is crying softly. I can't bring myself to be angry at her. She did it all for me after all, so that I get a little. So that I am not miserable and alone. Although this was very wrong, I fell her love for me. I won't let people put her in jail because of something she did to make me happy.
"I asked her to do that, get that girl .." I say, stubbornly.
