I wake up the next morning to the doorbell. I run down quickly to open the door to a fazed, exhausted and slightly mad Jay.
"You could have f*****g told me you got her here!" He shouts the moment I open the door.
"I would have if you would have picked up your phone or reply to your messages. I am sure Natasha left you a message before leaving last night?" I reply calmly. I should be supremely irritated by him but he looks so tired and flummoxed right now that I cannot bring myself to be mad at him. Yet.
