"No, daddy, don't go." Carol wakes up the moment I try to pull my hand from under her body. So much for trying to not wake her up. I lie back down and kiss her on the lips.
"We need to get up, baby. I don't even know the time." I say but I make no other attempt to move.
It's been raining since last night and Carol and I slept in my room together and when we were woken up by the alarm clock a couple of hours back, Carol still wanted to be in bed and snuggle so we did that and fell asleep again.
The weather is perfect and was so cozy under the covers and it's a weekend so I think we are doing good, except I am hungry and so must have been my baby.
