He listens for a while and then throws his gaze at me. I quickly look away, my heart beating faster.
“You've found another white wolf?”
My heart skips a beat and almost on instinct, I turn my face to the Lycan King who, to my surprise, hasn't shifted his gaze from me.
“Well I've paid for this one.” Alpha Renric, the Lycan King, says and hangs up.
I take a deep breath, trying to swallow what I had just heard. Damon has found another white wolf to replace me, he is trying to save me from this misery. But why? Does he not know that my father will kill my friends if I try to sabotage this?
My heart clenches.
