My shaky hands reached out for the bottle of pills in my purse. I fished it out, and opened the cap. Without thinking, I popped two pills into my mouth, dry. I closed the cap immediately, hiding it away from prying eyes.
I was about to do something foolish. But this was the only place! If I didn't tell him now, when would I? I knew I had to tell him about this baby. With that, I scanned the area. He couldn't have gone that far. Malakai was close by. Somehow I could still smell him.
